The incident happened on Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m. on State Highway 23 in Ozark. A 2006 Ford Ranger was traveling northbound when Todd Ingram, 25, fell off his skateboard and was struck by the vehicle. Authorities reported that the skateboarder, whose identity has not yet been released, was riding near the edge of the road when they lost control and fell into oncoming traffic.
Ingram was immediately taken to a hospital in Ozark, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
