Nicholas Minske, 35, was riding a 2021 Honda motorcycle south on Grand Forks County Road 5 when a 2009 Pontiac Vibe, driven by an unidentified juvenile, entered the intersection at 32nd Avenue South and County Road 5. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the Pontiac.

Nick was transported to Altru Hospital with severe injuries. The occupants of the Pontiac, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, were also taken to Altru Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Pontiac was not injured.
