Aaron Dillon Death & Obituary: Aaron Dillon, 31, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle collision on Friday morning in Butte County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place on Skyway, north of Powellton Road, around 7 p.m. on June 28.
Authorities reported that a minor from Magalia was riding a motorcycle northbound on Skyway when he collided head-on with an oncoming motorcycle that had crossed over the centerline. The southbound motorcyclist, identified as Dillon, was immediately transported to Enloe Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 3 a.m. on Friday, June 28.
The Magalia juvenile was taken to U.C. Davis with unspecified injuries, the extent of which has not been disclosed.
The California Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the accident, and further details will be provided as they become available.
