How to Make Jamaican Jerk Chicken

Ingredients: 4 chicken thighs, 1 tbsp allspice, 1 tbsp thyme, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp each of nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper,

1/2 tsp ground ginger, 2 garlic cloves, 1 Scotch bonnet pepper, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1/4 cup lime juice, 2 green onions, 1 small onion.

Blend Marinade: In a blender, combine all spices, garlic, Scotch bonnet, soy sauce, oil, lime juice, green onions, and onion. Blend until smooth.

Marinate: Coat chicken thighs with marinade, refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

 Preheat: Set grill to medium-high heat or oven to 375°F (190°C).

Grill: Grill chicken thighs skin-side down for 6-8 minutes per side, until 165°F and crispy.

Or Bake: Bake for 35-45 minutes until 165°F and crispy.

Rest: Let chicken rest for 5-10 minutes.

Prepare Sides: Optionally, prepare sides like rice and peas, plantains, or salad.

Serve: Serve hot with sides and enjoy.
