Easy Drop Biscuit Recipe

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Add Butter: Cut in 1/2 cup of cold unsalted butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Liquid: Pour in 3/4 cup of milk and stir until just combined. The dough will be sticky

Drop Dough: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each biscuit.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.

Cool: Transfer the biscuits to a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.
