Delectable Coffee Cake: A Perfectly Paired Morning Treat

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

 In a bowl, cream together 1/2 cup of softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar.

Beat in 2 large eggs, one at a time, then add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

In another bowl, sift together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with 1 cup of sour cream, until well combined.

Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with a mixture of 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.

Repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon-sugar mixture, swirling with a knife.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Enjoy warm!
