Classic Crepes Recipe

Prepare Ingredients: Gather 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 large eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of water, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

Mix Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine.

Add Butter and Salt: Add the salt and melted butter, whisking until smooth. The batter should be thin and pourable.

Heat Pan: Heat a lightly oiled non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium-high heat.

Pour Batter: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet. Tilt the pan in a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly.

Cook Crepe: Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn, and cook the other side for 1 minute

Repeat: Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the cooked crepes on a plate
